Ocularis – The Eye Game is an engaging game used to test the user’s optic abilities. It is a collection of three games bundled in one application and developed specifically for the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms. An additional Eye Facts section is included to further provide users with more information about the human eye, different eye conditions, and tools that can be used to maintain overall ocular health.
The application’s games – Tap the Diff, Camouflage Mania, and Color Challenge – are all designed to help improve the user’s eyesight. In Tap the Diff, users try their hand at a classic game, spotting the differences between the two displayed images. With Camouflage Mania, users need to locate all the hidden items in the image. And finally, in Ocularis’ Color Challenge game, users test their eyesight with an Ishihara-Test-inspired puzzle game using graphics designed to check for color blindness.
Users are also given useful information on color blindness, shape recognition, and visual acuity through in-game pop up trivia. Featuring five levels of difficulty for each game, Ocularis provides a fun and new way to test and improve one’s eyesight. More fun levels are slated for release in future versions of the product.
